1. Scope of services
CABO Dispatch provides dispatch and compliance support, including:
- Load sourcing across UK lanes and broker boards.
- Rate negotiation on behalf of the client.
- Broker communication and booking confirmations.
- Compliance assistance including documentation review and reminders.
2. Client responsibilities
- Maintain valid operator licensing, insurance and vehicle compliance at all times.
- Provide accurate vehicle, driver and availability information.
- Communicate promptly regarding load acceptance, status updates and POD submission.
3. Documentation requirements
Clients must supply operator licence, insurance certificates, MOT documents, driver licences and any broker setup paperwork required to dispatch loads on their behalf.
4. Service fees
Fees are agreed in writing before services begin and may be charged as a percentage of gross revenue, a flat weekly fee or another agreed structure.
5. Payment terms
Invoices are payable within 7 days of issue unless agreed otherwise. Late payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 and may result in suspension of services.
6. Cancellation
Either party may cancel the engagement by giving 7 days' written notice. Fees for work performed and loads already booked up to the cancellation date remain payable.
7. Termination
We may terminate immediately if a client breaches these terms, fails to maintain compliance, behaves abusively toward staff or brokers, or fails to pay invoices.
8. Liability limitations
Our liability under these terms is limited to the fees paid in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of revenue, profit or business.
9. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared during the engagement, including rates, broker relationships and operational data.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
